I was invited to participate on a panel hosted by the Twin Cities Urban League on Friday, February 5th. The topic was about the most recent iteration of white nationalist organizations. My work was mis-characterized a bit. I do not study how people get involved white nationalist extremism. Rather, as I hope I conveyed in the panel, I explore how white nationalism is baked into the fabric of the nation state and its schools. The panel included myself, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Steven Hunegs, Executive Director, JCRC, and Michael Paul, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Minneapolis.
